EVANS LIBRARY FOUNDATION
The Evans Library Foundation was established in 1997 to encourage gifts of money, property, and other materials of value to the library. This is a non-profit 501(c)3 trust to receive, administer and distribute income exclusively for the benefit of Evans Public Library. Donations are tax deductible subject to provisions of the IRS Code Section 170. Gifts can be made in memory or in honor of someone.
An independent organization with its own governing board, the Foundation seeks to complement the support offered by the taxpayers of the library district and the Friends of the Evans Public Library District. The Evans Library Foundation works to preserve the excellent services found at Evans Public Library. Foundation funds are invested and managed by the Foundation Board. This non-profit foundation relies on community support. Your gift can help ensure a rich future for Evans Public Library District. Funds will not be used as a substitute for traditional tax-based funding for the library. They are intended to enhance, not replace the community’s support.
The current Board of Directors of the Foundation are: Joanna Helm, Chuck Hutson, Deb Durbin, Kim Shanks and Jessica Blain.
To make a contribution to the library’s foundation, please contact the library at 618-283-2824 or email eplddirector@gmail.com.
